COMMENTS
Have recently overfilled with water due to
tank not being sealed properly therefore had about 2" of water in boat at
opposite end to inspection hatch i.e. by the steps up to the cockpit how do i
drain this water out as the wood flooring is still wet can anybody help
1. The work I need to do is described as follows:
I need to get under the marine ply floor to sort out
water which has ingressed from the on board storage tank which I discovered
wasn't sealed properly. I am currently trying to dry out by cutting a small
disc shape hole and attempted to pump with power drill attachment. So far
hasn't been too successful so have wedged up ply in the hope that natural air
will dry out.
2. Currently moored at Fradley Junction, near Lichfield
Staffs (junction of Coventry, Birmingham & Fazeley and Trent & Mersey
3. Cruising so far - nil. apart from the short stretch
from Kings Bromley where she was slipped in on delivery to current mooring.
My wife is terrified of water so are waiting for her to have some professional
handling and lock operation lessons in the Spring before we start cruising
seriously. Our aim is to get up on to the Ashby at some point next year
p.s I am a novice..
